It’s been a great year at Northwest Skin Care Clinic with all the changes we’ve had. It’s hard to believe it’s been a full year since we joined forces with Dr. Lawlor and the Seattle Skin and Laser team. We have so many exciting things that are happening at our office, two new lasers and some great skin care products that have been added to our Skin Care Clinic family. Our newest laser is a hair reduction system by Cynosure called Vectus. Not only is it leading in the laser field for efficacy, it’s much more tolerable for the client and cuts your treatment time in half! Now is a great time of year to get started on your series before we get into summer. Treatment plans can be adjusted to fit everyone’s lifestyle. Imagine not having to set time aside in your schedule to shave, wax, or even buy razors. The second laser that we have added is Exilis for body shaping and tissue tightening. This is an FDA approved device that offers a non surgical solution using RF or ‘radio frequency’ energy for fat reduction and tissue tightening anywhere on the body. This thermal energy speeds up metabolic activity of the fat cells causing them to shrink. At the same time, it stimulates and strengthens the collagen network which improves skin laxity and texture.
One of my favorite new products from SkinCeuticals is the Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2. It’s a unique formulation of ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids that work to restore your skin’s external barrier, support self repair, and nourish skin. This time of year everyone tends to get a little more dry which can show signs of aging. This product is great for a winter hydrating boost to your skin needs.
