Skin Resurfacing – Non-Ablative Fractional 1540

The 1540 delivers light in an array of narrow focused “microbeams”, to create columns of coagulation within the skin.  These columns initiate a natural healing process that forms new, healthy tissue. This results in improved skin appearance.

It can be used on most areas of the body, but the most commonly treated areas are the face, neck and chest. Fractional laser skin resurfacing is used to treat fine lines, uneven skin texture, skin laxity, brown spots, and acne scars.

Immediately after the treatment, a sunburn-like sensation is common that usually lasts 2-3 days.  There is also mild to moderate swelling and redness that usually resolves in 2-5 days.  This is a great treatment option for patients who require minimal downtime.
