Pay Your Bill Online 

Insurance:

Seattle Skin and Laser participates with most major insurance carriers. We highly encourage all patients to contact their insurance carriers prior to scheduling an appointment to learn more about your insurance benefits, copay requirements, and referral requirements for a specialty office.

Insurance plans can change throughout the year. We encourage patients to verify that Seattle Skin and Laser is a preferred provider under your insurance plan to ensure maximum coverage for your visit.

Billing:

If Seattle Skin and Laser is contracted with your insurance plan, we will submit a claim on your behalf. Please be aware that the filing of your insurance claim does not guarantee payment by your insurance. Any care not covered by insurance will be the patient’s responsibility.  Treatments that are not covered by insurance or considered cosmetic will not be billed to insurance and payment will be due at the time of service.

You will receive a statement each month with the remaining balance on your account after your claim has been filed with your insurance. If you have a question regarding your bill, please contact Derm Service.

Referrals:

A referral or prior authorization might be required before seeing one of the providers at Seattle Skin and Laser. We highly encourage patients to contact their insurance carriers to learn more about their referral requirements. If you are seen for an appointment without a referral or prior authorization and your insurance carrier requires one, your insurance may deny your claim leaving you responsible for the claim.
